I was thinking just the other day:
“Am I happy with my life the way
It weaves through work & rest & play?
Is this the way that things muststay?”
Is there more to life than what I’ve got?
Is there more to come or is this my lot?
Will I get one more chance, one more shot?
My heart says “Yes” my head says “Maybe not”.
You see we may only get one chance to try
So don’t let life just pass you by.
There’s no time to waste, no time to play,
Get up, get ready, and seize the day.
Don’t wait for others to lift you up,
Do it for yourself, take care of your stuff.
Aren’t you tired of waiting, haven’t you had enough?
Aren’t you ready to go forward, ready to step up?
The clock is ticking, time’s moving on
If you don’t act now, it may be gone.
Stop trying to fit in, stop trying to belong
Stand on your own, just be strong.
If you’re not happy with the way things are
Then change them up, just make a start.
Stop blaming other people, and do your part,
Follow the guidance from your heart.
